RESULTS OF THE SELECTION FOR THE 9. DRAGON FORUM
The organisers of the Dragon Forum have just announced the results of this year's selection. 15 projects will participate in Dragon Forum 2014, including 5 projects from Poland.
Dragon Forum 2014 pitching will take place at the 54th Krakow Film Festival, from Tuesday 27 May to Saturday 31 May. Dragon Forum pitching includes two days of preparatory sessions and two days of pitching. The new formula of Dragon Forum includes the participation of the best projects in the follow-up activities, which consist of promoting these projects at film festivals, participation in sessions and script doctoring. The organisers kindly invite all interested persons to take part in Dragon Forum 2014 as observers. Observer status allows participation both in a preparatory session and pitching. The observers will have a great chance to gain the wide knowledge of preparing the script and the production for international documentary market. This is a good opportunity for those who would like to pitch their project the next year. Dragon Forum 2014 Observer accreditation is available at http://dragonforum.pl/en/for-participants/applications/
Special guest of 54. Krakow Film Festival is United Kingdom. At this occasion Dragon Forum will host special group of English filmmakers and decision makers associated with Channel 4 and BBC. We hope that it will turn in long-term and fruitful cooperation.
Experts and commissioning editors that have confirmed their participation at 9. Dragon Forum so far are representing a.o. HBO, ARTE, TVP, ORF, AVRO, RBB, Sundance Institute, Polish and foreign film funds, Studio Munka SFP, international producers and distribution houses.
