Ex Oriente Film is a series of workshops, the aim of which is to help with production and funding of documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. It is addressed both to directors and film producers. The former will work on developing the subject of their films and their narrative and visual style, whereas the latter will learn more about the methods of looking for sponsors and the principles behind the functioning of the world film market. The authors of projects selected to the participation in the workshops will work on the script, co-production opportunities, etc.
The workshops are divided into three sessions, held in July and October 2014 and in March 2015. The first session starts on 21st July in Rijeka, Croatia.
