“FACES OF AGATA” AT SHEFFIELD DOCFEST MEETMARKET
The Polish documentary project by Małgorzata Kozera has been invited to the prestigious Sheffield MeetMarket held duting the Sheffield Docfest and is the only one from our country to achieve that. The event is scheduled to take place in June.
This year, only 35 projects from around the world will participate in the Sheffield MeetMarket and be presented to representatives of the film industry over the course of two days. MeetMarket brings together over 300 decision makers: editors, distributors, sales agents, representatives of film funds, TV stations, and media markets. One-to-one meetings are scheduled in advance via an online platform, where guests can see the submitted projects and pick ones they consider interesting.
Małgorzata Kozera's documentary project Faces of Agata – which has just finished filming in London – was selected for the prestigious Sheffield MeetMarket during Sheffield DocFest, which will take place this June. This is the only project from Poland in this year's selection. It is produced by Marta Krauss from the Warsaw-based company Plesnar & Krauss FILMS. The British co-producer is Peter Fudakowski from Premiere Productions, the Academy Award winner for the film Tsots. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. It was developed as one of Doc Lab Poland's projects.
