KFF INDUSTRY: PROJECTS QUALIFIED FOR CEDOC MARKET
A total of 29 projects qualified this year's CEDOC Market – the only international co-production market in Poland for documentary producers who are looking for Polish and foreign partners. The list includes documentaries from Poland, Great Britain, Romania, the Czech Republic, Serbia, and Hungary.
This year's CEDOC Market begins on 1 June and will last until 6 June 2022. The event is organised during the Krakow Film Festival as part of DOC LAB POLAND by the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation in cooperation with KFF Industry.
Among the projects selected this year at CEDOC Market there are films created in Jamaica, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Italy. Their creators follow the most important historical events, current problems, or individual stories of seemingly ordinary people. Many of them are socially conscious films and try to show that the world can be changed, but the fight is difficult, long, and unequal. Regardless of geography, the directors take their cameras into the most dangerous or forgotten areas to understand the modern world, show it, and ask what our future will look like.

CEDOC MARKET (Central European Documentary Market) aims to enable producers and documentary directors to establish contacts with partners in other countries with whom or thanks to whom they will be able to make their films. The event will be held for the eighth time this year. During previous editions, the market was attended by leading European production companies and over 60 decision makers from around the world. Individual one-on-one meetings and presentation of projects participating in DOC LAB POLAND Docs to Start program will be held during this three-day event.
CEDOC MARKET is organised by DOC LAB POLAND in cooperation with KFF Industry during the Krakow Film Festival. This year, CEDOC begins a co-operation with PITCH THE DOC – an online platform for filmmakers, investors and professionals that supports the international promotion of documentary film projects. This collaboration will bring the opportunity to conveniently learn about the projects to both CEDOC guests and people who cannot personally participate in meetings in Krakow.
CEDOC Market is organised by the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation in cooperation with the Krakow Film Festival. In 2022, DOC LAB POLAND partners, as part of which CEDOC MARKET is organised, include: the Polish Film Institute, HBO MAX, Mazovian Institute of Culture, Mazovia Warsaw Film Fund, Krakow Festival Office, Krakow Film Commission, The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, MX35, Cafe Ole, Orka, Fixafilm, Warsaw Film Festival, Smakjam, DoK Leipzig, Institute of Documentary Film, and media patrons this year include: DAFilms, FilmPro Magazine, Polish Docs, TVP Kultura, siłanauki.pl, Cinema.pl, Screen Magazine and the SFP Film Magazine.
Onsite CEDOC Market will be held in Krakow from 1st till 3rd June 2022, while online meetings will be organised on June 6th.
