POLISH DOCS PRO DELEGATION AT IDFA INDUSTRY 2025
This year's edition of IDFA Industry, a series of events for film industry insiders that accompany IDFA – the biggest and the most important documentary film festivals in the world – will be held from 15th till 19th of November. Amsterdam will be visited by a Polish delegation of producers and filmmakers who will present themselves to international film industry representatives during events prepared as part of the Polish Docs Pro project and Docs for Sale Market.
IDFA Industry is a set of events dedicated to financing (IDFA Forum), sales and distribution (Docs for Sale Market), and also a lot of presentations and networking events aimed at searching international partners.
At this year’s IDFA Industry Polish filmmakers will attend the industry events within a frame of Polish Docs Pro delegation, organized by the Krakow Film Foundation. One of the key event of Polish presence at IDFA will be the Polish Docs Pro Showcase – presenting the most interesting Polish creative documentary projects in progress followed by one-on-one meetings with the decision makers. On Monday, November 17th at 13.30 following projects will be presented:

Polish producers will get the opportunity to promote, participate in networking meetings, and search for international partners as part of the open IDFA Industry program.
Polish Docs Pro delegation is organized by the Krakow Film Foundation and it's co-financed from the state budget from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Film Institute.
In Docs For Sale Market videolibrary the industry guests will have chance to watch ten interesting Polish documentary films (like “Silver” by Natalia Koniarz – multi winner of the 65th Krakow FF, "Child of Dust" by Weronika Mliczewska and "What the...Hen? by Joanna Deja), including the films from the IDFA official selection: „Confession of a Mole” by Mo Tan (Envision Competition), „Passion According to Agnieszka” by Wojciech Staroń (Luminous) and “Letters from Wolf Street” by Arjun Talwar (Best of Fests). Piotr Jasiński was selected to take part in the IDFA Academy.
The great presence of the Polish films and projects at IDFA will be celebrate at Guest Meet Guest networking event hosted by Polish Docs and Wajda Film Centre, held on Sunday, November 16th at 18.30. The event, open for all accredited guests, will promote Polish filmmakers and films produced in Poland in the IDFA program.
The project Polish Docs PRO focuses primarily on a wide promotion of Polish documentary film industry at international events addressed to film professionals. It supports film-makers and producers in developing their projects by facilitating access to the markets abroad, co-coordinating the trips of delegations to the pitching forums and co-production markets, organising the presentations of projects, production models and co-production opportunities with Poland, organising networking meetings, participation in lectures, panel discussions, workshops and training sessions. The aim of the Polish Docs PRO is to establish the brand of Polish documentary film in the international film environment and to develop international co-operation.
